Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about setting up, using, and getting the most out of your SlabPop device.

Answers for setup, syncing, market data, and ongoing support.

How do I add a new SlabPop device? +

Open the SlabPop app and go to the Devices tab. If this is your first device, tap Connect your first device. If you already have one or more devices connected, tap the floating + button in the lower corner to start a new device connection.

From there, the app will guide you through Bluetooth pairing, WiFi setup, and choosing which card to display.

For the full step-by-step walk-through, see the Quick Start Guide.

Can I change a device after setup? +

Yes. Open the Devices tab and tap the device you want to update. From there, you can change WiFi credentials, card details, and other settings at any time.

What does the population number mean? +

Population data shows how many copies of your card exist in the same grade, based on grading authority records.

How often is market data updated? +

SlabPop automatically syncs pricing and population data every few hours.

What does estimated price mean? +

Estimated price is a calculated value based on recent market activity, card rarity, grading population, and overall demand.

Why SlabPop? +

SlabPop brings your cards to life with real-time market insights and collector-focused technology including live price tracking, population data, recent sales activity, and QR code integration.

How does SlabPop work? +

After connecting the device to your WiFi network, you can scan your graded card or manually enter its details. The display then stays synced with updated pricing, population stats, and recent sales automatically.

How do I switch my device to a new WiFi network? +

Open the SlabPop app and long-press your device in the Devices list, then tap Reset Wi-Fi Settings. Your device will reset and return to setup mode, where you can connect it to a new WiFi network via Bluetooth.

If your device loses connection to a previously saved WiFi network and can't reconnect on its own, it will also automatically return to setup mode.

Why does the estimated price or market activity look incorrect? +

Pricing and market data depend on the accuracy of your card details. Be sure the card name, brand, year, number, and other identifying information are correct so SlabPop can find the best possible match.

All information provided by SlabPop is for informational and entertainment purposes only. We recommend manually verifying details anytime something appears incorrect.
